Disable Virtual Cockpit

Post by TynMahn »

Is there a way to set the plane to NOT render the steam gauges? I have built and use my Saitek FIP gauges to render these gauges on another computer. I would like to free up the resources on the Sim Computer that is necessary to render the gauges in game since I no longer need them.

It would be nice if there was some way to just render a blank panel or a static panel

Hello,

yes if you see the cockpit builders thread. Also don't forget to program the FIP's to use our custom variables otherwise the gauges wont read and show the correct values.

thanks,
Lewis

Lewis,
Do you mind pointing me in the direction here? I'm looking to do exactly what the OP requested as I use AirManager to render gauges on seperate monitor. I cannot find this Cockpit Builders thread you suggested. Only one that I sim to find is talking about buttons and such...nothing about disabling gauges.

Here's the topic in question BigTall10. The link to it is in the main C182 FAQ thread.

Cheers,
Nick
