While installing the C182 Professional into Prepar3D, I received the message “An internal system error occurred. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine problem.†I then continued with the install. At the end, the installer announced that it finished successfully. What is wrong with my installation and what must I do to correct it?
My system is:
Alienware Aurora R4
Intel Core i7-3960X @ 3.3 GHz (12 CPUs) Overclocked to 4.2 GHz
32 GB RAM
Seagate, 2 TB (x2) in Raid 0, @ 7200 RPM
Samsung SSD 256 GB
NVidia GeForce GTX 680 2 GB (x2) in SLI
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1 & DirectX 11
Asus VG278H (Stereoscopic) monitor
Thank you,
Joe Powel

Re: C182 Professional/Prepar3D installation failure
Hello Joe,
this is the direct X9 component of the installation. If this fails you may already have it installed on your system in which case no action is needed, otherwise you can download direct from Microsoft here;
