GPS options
GPS options
not such a big deal, but i cant seem to get the other GPS's from the A2A aircraft configurator to work. they show up on the VC panel but some have no click spots and none of them other than the default GPS even turn on. i read some of the forum posts about these and tried some of the fixes but couldn't fix them.
Re: GPS options
You have to own the GPS products before you can install them as alternatives.

Re: GPS options
Hello,
you will need to own the third party GPS units in order to have them embedded into the cockpit.
thanks,
Lewis

Re: GPS options
oh ok, are they a separate purchase? and where do you purchase them? one other question, what does that switch (slave and align) under the oil temp and pressure gauge do?

The slave option aligns the HSI heading using the GPS, so that it will not drift like most heading indicators do over time.

Not to the GPS (which generally doesn't even know where your nose is pointed - only where your track is going to!), but to the magnetic north. The system has a remote flux valve just for that purpose.GoProTexas wrote:The slave option aligns the HSI heading using the GPS, so that it will not drift like most heading indicators do over time.
