Hello-
I have searched without success.... using P3D 2.4 and FSUIPC- all controls disabled in P3D.
All works well EXCEPT Prop Control- throttle and mixture and all flight axis' have NO issue... any pointers?
Ta!

Hello Carl,
have you tried mapping via the included mapping tool or simply by going the default path of using P3D?
thanks,
Lewis

Lewis-
Thanks for your prompt response!
I do not use any controls in P3D or FSX, mapping all controls in FSUIPC. I'd really like to keep doing that. Any thoughts on why just this ONE control does not work?
Ta!

Yes, some controls should be mapped a certain way for some hardware. This is why we include the A2A input configuration. The tool will map the custom values for you and only affect the aircraft it was designed for much like FSUIPC's profile feature. FSUIPC I'm sure can be used, but i'm not a user so I cannot help too much for that software.

Lewis

Re: Prop Control Lever INOP
I have FSUIPC and the prop control maps just fine. Try backing up your FSUIPC.ini from FSX\modules folder, delete the existing on, and try remapping again to see if it works.

Re: Prop Control Lever INOP
Ok. will try the re-mapping.... despite the fact that ALL other a/c- default, default FSX and add-ons work absolutely fine with the current fsuipc.ini. Lewis- if I use the configurator, don't I have to enable controls in P3D? I do NOT want to do that....
I also am wondering about the "core update" mentioned in installation documentation. What is this? Where is it found and do I need it? The only one I see (in the 182 Forum) mentions the other A2A a/c but NOT the 182- which happens to be the only A2A a/c I own.
Ta!

Brand new update today: http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... =2&t=41279 Don't know if it will help your particular issue or not but it does have other C182 fixes and updates.
Good luck.

The Accusim updates are published in the sticky topic at the top of the forum.
There is only a single update to install to cover all Accusim aircraft.

Re: Prop Control Lever INOP
Ok- thanks all- applied the patch- no joy.
All axis work as advertised, except the PROP......
BTW I just realized there was a bundle... for FSX & P3D.... can I please upgrade my purchase so that I can try this a/c in FSX as well?
Ta!

Did you try what I mentioned earlier?

Re: Prop Control Lever INOP
Whilst I fully appreciate your efforts to assist, I cannot quite understand how that would help. The axis functions perfectly with EVERY other prop a/c in my fleet. FWIW I did RE-MAP under FSUIPC after deleting the Prop 1 assignment (so basically the same thing).molleh wrote:Did you try what I mentioned earlier?
Thanks again!

Re: Prop Control Lever INOP
If you're the only person that the prop control doesn't work for, than there must a conflict or error within your sim and its files. FSUIPC.ini can sometimes get something added to it that you didn't intend. That's why it's just a quick, very simple test to see if a fresh fsuipc.ini can fix it. Simply backup your existing on (in case the test doesn't work and you want to swap back to what you had) then delete it and run FSX. FSUIPC will rebuild a default INI. Then the very first thing you should do is go into FSUIPC and try assigning the prop control to the axis of your choice through FSUIPC.
Re: Prop Control Lever INOP
You said you use "Prop 1" - did you already try to map it to the general "PropPitch" setting (the one without a prop number specified)?
Re: Prop Control Lever INOP
Set your prop pitch direct and erase what ever you map on prop pitch 1 and so on.

Re: Prop Control Lever INOP
Oh yep, that could be it for sure. A lot of times, throttle 1, mixture 1, prop 1 don't work right on complex single-engine addons. You need to assign the ones that just say Throttle, Prop Pitch, Mixture.
