RXP integration

Post by tttocs »

I'm probably missing something here, but I can't seem to get either the RXP 430 or 530 to work properly. I can integrate them into the panel just fine, but I can't get either GPS to drive the nav heads (whether using the HSI or CDI config), for either GPS or Nav radio usage, nor can I get the COM radio to work as COM1. When using the 530, I tried changing Radios=2 to 1, as well as deleting the non-used radio (430 or 530) from the rxpgns.ini files without any luck.

Anyone having better luck than I am?

I don't have this one yet but did you try first with the no GPS option, and turning on the radios? Then swap back to RXP option. I think I had to do that in the C172 or P28A. You'll only have to do it once.

That seems to have done the trick! I probably never noticed on the 172, as I flew it first with no GPS. With the 182, I went straight to installing the 530.

Thanks, Ryan! I think you've cracked it here.
