Is it a known problem or am I doing something wrong? I click the NAV1 button, the little light turns green, but no morse code ever plays.

I believe you will need to right click on the appropriate knob on the radio to pull it out to hear the identifier.

Aside from not hearing the identifier, is the VOR head acting as if you are tuned in to an active VOR?
