Realism Settings in P3D V4.1

Post by harleywolf »

Hallo, please can you help me.
I have P3D V4.1 an the C182 Cessna. Now my ask: In the "Setting Realism" in P3d under "engines" is "Engine stress damage engine".
In your documentation you say (Acceleration only) it is recommendid you have this unchecked. I am a little confused.
What is "Acceleration only" and must I checked this for realism in P3D or not?

Greetings Harald

Hi,

(Acceleration only) is referenced to the old FSX expansion pack called "Acceleration". Manual recommends if you have FSX with expansion pack, to leave the option for the engine stress 'unchecked', since it interferes with the proper work of Accu-Sim A2A model.

Hello,

you can leave it off or on in P3Dv4 as we use our own simulation engine to model this.

thanks,
