Problem with this Livery

Post by TonyP »

Hello,

This Green Livery on page 8 does not match the color or registration or file name of the post. For some reason, when I install this livery a Brown Trim color and a different registration number comes up. I have downloaded the file twice. Uninstalled and reinstalled the below listed file. This is the only livery that exhibits this problem. Has anyone else had this problem? Could the included texture file be incorrect. If so, is there another link available to obtain the corrected file?

Thanks,

Tony P.

Hi and welcome to this forum,

Have you tried to download the livery again and replace the existing one? Do you have problems with different livery on the same plane?

As I already said I have downloaded the file twice. I uninstalled and reinstalled the file. I do not have problems with any other livery I suspect the problem is with the file
Thanks
Tony

the texture file should be named 4982green not texture4982green as in the download.

I am not following you.
Below are the Config file and the texture file names. Both the Black Cherry and Midnight liveries are working. For some reason the Green Livery loads as Midnight?

Make sure the actual texture folder for the paint is called" N4982NDgreen" not" texture N4982NDgreen".

The download file is called" texture.N4982NDgreen" you need to rename it" N9382NDgreen" without the texture bit.Without the inverted commas obviously.

Cheers Chris

Hello Tony,

Looks like the creator of this repaint mistakenly included the wrong "c182_t.dds" texture within the zipped archive. In other words, I'm afraid there's nothing you can do in terms of editing/renaming folders to fix the issue. If you're really keen to get hold of a copy of the paint, I suggest you send them a private message ('pm').

Thanks,
Nick
