Instrument Panel Lights not working

Post by oldsailer2 »

Anyone know where the switch is for the inst panel lights? All other lights are working ok including the two floods overhead. I do not have "pilot controls lighting" checked so they should just come on by them selves after dark. Other than that little wrinkle all else seems good, had several hours of flight time this afternoon.

Yes - the panel, radio, glareshield and pedestal lighting are all controlled by the two knobs beneath the tachometer (each knob allows you to control two separate rotary dimmer switches).

Due to this custom adjustable panel lighting, I suspect the default behaviour you describe at dusk isn't supported.

Cheers,
Nick
