a2a c172 can't tune nav/com or turn start key

First, I am not a computer jock.
been running steam versions for a few months ok. several months ago purchased a2a c172. had trouble from the start. got new computer and things
got better. but still cannot start with key sometimes and cannot tune nav/com. I tried down loading sp2 and got notice can't do that cus I need sp1, then when downloading sp1 got notice I don't have fsx. I'm lost! steam planes are flying fine!
Can I be helped? Please

Just to add that the Steam version of FSX is fully patched. In other words it doesn't need SP1 or SP2 for the A2A add-ons to run correctly.

If you can give us a bit more info on the specific problems you're having we can try to help. However, it's worth pointing out that the mouse scroll wheel is needed to manipulate various controls such as the dials on the NAV/COMM radios.

No problem! Still worth installing the Accu-Sim update as Lewis mentions above (if you haven't already) to make sure you have the latest fixes and features.
