I have tried to assign 1 button (as shown) to p3d V4. However, it does not work when pressed in the sim. What am I doing wrong?

Update, I had to enable the controllers in p3d.
All my inputs are configured through fsuipc.

Yes if your controllers are turned off, then they will not work.
