Just purchased the 182 about a week ago, and I'm really enjoying it. I was a bit hesitant to buy it since I already owned the 172, but I'm happy to say that they are different enough to justify owning both. The difference is not as dramatic as the Cherokee 180 -> Comanche, but they certainly feel like different aircraft. The 182 feels much more powerful, and it obviously has the variable pitch propeller which really changes how you approach flying it. Performance wise, it's a much bigger step up from the 172 than I expected. I can understand why pilots prefer the 182 for actual work (or fun), and the 172 for training. Funny how the A2A simulations are so accurate that you can really appreciate the difference between models like that. I always thought the 172 and 182 were kind of the same, based on previous simulator models.

They are very similar yet very different.

I am in absolute agreement with the above. I have had the 182 for some time now and I fly it every day and twice on Sundays, it's a great simulation.

Thanks A2a

A home run.
You have effectively ruined any other addon aircraft. I went through several devs offerings only to find A2A.
(I had been a fan since BoB II - anyway to find my old account?)

Further, I have not had one issue. I have EZDOK etc and was expecting issues to arise. I must assume the latest release addressed those.

The addition of maintenance to my flight regime is sublime. This is as real as it gets.

The only beef I have is not enough choice in GA aircraft. Please model more. ;)

Bravo and thank you.
