iBlueYonder KACK to Orbx KBID in A2A C182

Post by robains »

Not sure why ATC had me takeoff from RWY15 ... thought I was ready for a crosswind takeoff, I guess NOT -- and the heavy passenger/baggage load made it more interesting.

Flight was painfully slow as I was fighting high head/cross winds most of it ... fortunately no icing.

Definitely an "immersive" flight for me, enjoyed it.

Cheers, Rob.

Thanks Lewis, don't have to worry about copyrights when I produce my own music ... fills in the silent parts, a blues "ish" jaunt (in G) seemed appropriate for place like Nantucket.

Cheers, Rob.

Thanks maddz ... FSCommander and www.liveATC.net and AS16/ASCA run on a networked PC ... thought I'd record FSCommander on my networked PC and overlay it on my main flight sim PC recording. FSCommander is a little redundant when I have the GTN750 but FSCommander is "goto" cheat for navigation just in case I get lost.

I take it Scott is a Blues kinda guy ... I'm just keyboards, MixCraft7 helps me out with drum kits. I actually do more avant-garde type of music (think Edgar Froese, Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre) but I have experimented with all kinds of music that doesn't require vocals ;)

It's flight like this that remind why I enjoy flight simulation so much and all the 3rd party support.

Cheers, Rob.

Great video Rob. Do you have the iBlueyonder airfield 2B2 Plum Island, MA or ORBX KBHB Bar Harbor, ME? I make flights between 2B2, KBHB, KBID, and KACK all the time. I was born and raised in New Hampshire near the coast. Plum Island use to be my dad and uncle Bob's hangout back before WWII.

Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down!
