F1 GTN750 NOT INSTALLING INTO THE C182

Post by mickp »

I used the A2A aircraft config file with no warning to the contrary it appeared to accept my F1 selection and saved.

Launched p3d v3 loaded C182 I then opened shift 3 window to implement the GTN750, it was not displayed as an option just the default GPS.

Any idea if this can be loaded through code or does this require a re-install any thoughts or remedy for this would be really appreciated.

Putting the GTN750 into the Duke was an absolute breeze, expected better from A2A.

Did you run the configurator as admin?

Problem solved, the c182 required the update although that didn't go smoothly as the install would fail, error message: said it was looking for bitmap5 from an airbus model, thanks to this forum I deleted that airplane folder and voila I now have the GTN750 installed in the c182.

Thanks for your help.

Good to hear you are up and flying it sounds like you where not running as admin or you have a custom directory for your P3D or both.
