Thanks for that. Only ORBX I have was when they were giving away the whole of Iceland as a demo. They also had an Australia free pack a while back I had as I wanted to see what their products are like.

I once had a failure with one of the flaps. Somehow it affected my turning and made it wierd to do so. Must say I am very impressed with the quality of this addon. Congratulations A2A :)

How do you get all that wonderful radio chatter to listen to ? Is that real ATC or virtual ATC ie with people controlling airspace in the virtual environment. I know you said IVAO but I wanted to check. :)

HI
It's from liveatc.com.
It's hard for me to get ATC control when flying over IVAO in Australia, the time zone is a bit off from Italy.

In the case of an aileron failure, you can always steer the aircraft using rudder, keeping the ailerons neutral.

Sorry there is no site called liveatc.com it says the domain is for sale. Liveatc.net did work though when I looked up. :) Pity we can't ever listen to UK ATC :( :(

Out of curiosity, what are you using for ATC?

Thanks,

nice video, you made it safe. i would've panic and problable loose control and the plane rolls to the left and straight to the ground

I just had a similar event in the Comanche!

YSCB Canberra to YSDU Dubbo with real weather, lots of overcast and showers and turbulence at 4500'. About 40 miles out the aircraft started to exhibit a roll to the left, which required about 1/4 yoke deflection and some rudder to keep trimmed more or less level on track.

Luckily the Comanche is a relatively stable aircraft and I was able to fcontinue to Dubbo and approach in a long wide turn to the threshold at about 10 kts faster than I would normally approach and then an uneventful landing a bit long down the strip.

After landing the left aileron was just hanging down, and the workshop manager, Mr F7, said the actuator was completely broken.

I wanted to record it but unfortunately P3DV4 will only record FRAPs after FRAPS is already running, unlike FSX you can't just start FRAPS and start recording.

What happened to the video? Would've liked to see that. There's just a blank page there.
