If I may ask ?
The red and blue knobs.. anyway of getting a little bit "used" / "dirty". Look like they have just been replaced with brand new ones. I just know i am going to spend many hours in these repaints.

JB

Very nice, and the cockpits have the right amount of wear. Looking forward to the next 2 releases.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi jrmaverickjr,

Assuming you have downloaded and installed all of my four repaints, you have four different "texture.vc_xxx" in your "SimObjects\Airplanes\A2A_C182" directory. All nessecery files concerning the interior are in the "texture_vc_xxx" folders.

Method 1 (texture fallback mehtod)
If you want to change the interior as a whole for a any given repaint, go to that repaint texture folder and open the texture.cfg file with notepad (or editor). It can read as following:

[fltsim]
fallback.1=..\texture.vc_beige
fallback.2=..\texture

Change the first entry ...

[fltsim]
fallback.1=..\texture.vc_brown_by Maloney
fallback.2=..\texture

... save it and now you have the brown leather interior with the black instrument panel installed into your livery.

Method 2 (copying a single texture file)
If only the instrument panel is needed, go to the "texture_vc_brown_byMaloney" folder containing the black panel and copy/paste the "c182_c2_t.dds" texture file into any repaint you wish. Now you have the black dashboard in the repaint root directory and the sim will load that texture, regardless to what interior the fallback in the texture.cfg is pointing to.

Love the faded one. Downloaded it and it will be my 'one to use' in Canadia. Actually, I could have done with it earlier this evening. We were moochin' about Golden, Revelstoke etc.
