Ladies and Gentlemen,
There is a "fourpack" in the paintshop i'd like to show. Three of them are workhorses of the backcountry and one is a former Swiss reg C182. All are more or less of a classic style, while the bare metal one is quite something special. The red Swiss and Canadian have a real world background: C-FTSL is a 1970 182N, HB-CBG is a 1966 182J now flying under German reg D-ERMJ. The yellow C-GURS seems quite personalised, but in the real world Liard Air at the Northern Rockies Lodge, BC, Canada, operates a 206 in a similar livery. They also operate a Turbine Otter which sports the owners name on the pilots door, "Urs". How convenient to have my "own" aircraft, in which a had the pleasure to fly'n'fish last year. The bare metal "Maloney's Pony" is pure fantasy on my part. The real Pony was a P-38 of World War II, but that theme works well on a Cessna too ...
The bush-style C182's feature some wear and dirt in various quantities which goes for the interiors as well. Two panel options and three or maybe four different upholstery styles will be available, all used but not filthy. At least i try not to exaggerate with the "filth" in the cockpits ...
There's still work to be done, especially with the spec maps and their corresponding alphas. What gives me a headache is the spec map for the leather parts, it is difficult to match the right amonut of brightness and alpha to make it look right and not like a "plastic" model. I'm still playing around, so don't expect a quick release of them.
The Interiors ...
All interiors feature rather dark leather trim with fabric seat inlays and lower side panels. I think that darker and toned down, less saturated colors looks best in the sim, and of course it's a personal preference anyway.
I have not decided yet on which interior goes into which aircraft, althoug some "missmatch" in colors of the exterior and interior could make for a more "reality look". Probably i go for the texture fallback method so the user can choose his vc.
I hope you're going to like them ...
Cheers,

Urs, cant wait for malony's pony..!!
Always have enjoyed your paints from way back "cub" days.
Ns.
1) Why the cub sticker in the cessna? Am I missing something?
2) would love to see the malony pony number also a bit weathered/chiped/faded...! that number really has just been painted last week..!
example of weathered numbers

Those interiors are incredible
Re: [WIP] Workhorses ...
Awesome! Looks like I'm gonna finally explore the Canadian side of the Orbx Northern Rockies scenery- never have yet! Maloney's Pony is awesome- I love the subtle warbird hints, my favorite being the black leading edges to the wings... very nice!
Looking forward to these, many thanks!

These look great Urs - looking forward to giving them a try. I'm guessing from your Avatar you're a Series Land Rover man, so just the sort of interiors I'd expect!

Nick
