G-01, Belgian Federal Police air support unit.

Post by vesalius »

G-01 is one of the two C182 in service by the belgian Federal Police and is thus considered being a military variant.

Paint is finished as far as I'm concerned. I've spent several hours a day on this one, since Friday evening.
I will see how to upload her the following days, she should be uploaded to AVSIM by the end of this week.

Thanks for the comments!

Anyone has an idea how to export the plane's options, together with the textures?

I mean, if upload the dds files and the section [Aircraft.X] in a zip.... will it show up on your machine like it shows up on mine? Will it have the wheelfairings, propellor type,... that I selected?

I think these options are stored in the dat-file in your user profile.

Yes these are all user choice. You can share .dat files though so you can in affect share yor 'used' aircraft.

Thanks both of you for your answer.

Lewis,
That brings up 2 more questions... althoug I guess they are more or less the same :?

1) As far as I can understand (looking at the ..\Documents\A2A\FSX\Cessna182\C182SLog.dat), this is not a per livery config that I can share but rather the condition of my "entire" C182?

2) This would also mean that I share the wear and tear of my C182?

Hello,

yes correct, the .dat files is the Accu-sim data on the aircraft itself.

thanks,
