This is an absolutely incredible repaint! Is there anyway to get this without the dirty vertical streaks and the bug smashes and have a custom N number? Pretty Please?

Thanks for you kind words.

Sure it can be done. Let me know what you need. I can remove the weathering with no problems.

I remember well. She was so pretty the day I first laid eyes on her....bright and shiny, clean and with colors that really popped.

Just like so many that Cessna and A2A had produced in the past.

Then came that PM from awash2002 saying that he had purchased her and asked that I check her out. Thinking it was going to be another repaint, or at least some touch-up work, we did the check-out and gave awash a quote. I guess I was a little high on my quote for he elected to take her in her used clothing. We told him of the engine oil leaks, and the hydraulic oil all over the nose strut, the paint chips at door hinges and edges....but....awash wanted her just as she was.....
So....here is what he got:

Her spinner 'ain't what she used to be' and that prop......seems to be okay, but I would question the number of hours on it.

When I got up this morning, she was no longer on the ramp outside the paint shop.....

Good luck with here awash......

I was thinking of using the N number of N813WS

My take of the 182 painted in RAF late WWII colors.

I call this one the "Warszawski Wojownik " ("Warsaw Warrior").
The the knight on horseback is in honor of my uncle who was a trooper in a cavalry brigade in the Polish army during WWII and gave his life in defense of his country.
My father, who vary rarely spoke of his own time as a soldier and as a POW , did occasionally lovingly recall his brother and called him the, Warrior of Warsaw. Hence the artwork.

I owe a shout-out to, maloney, who posted some pics of his interiors which in turn inspired me to re-do mine. I really liked the look of the Owner's Handbook in his interiors and decided to take it a bit further by adding a fold to the cover and a curl to the next page. I also added some items to the glove-box, and what the heck, I added an Ipad behind the map.

Enjoy.

The in flight pics below show the incorrect name. The zip file contains the correction.

Finished Paints and Paintkit

Hi Folks,

My first two A2A paints are complete and uploaded - I believe both were factory paints available on the Q and R models of the 182... Thanks Gunnar for the inspiration...

Hi Scott,

Nice paints! Just you put the number N5758S on your repaint, instead of N7578S :)
Check my overviews of C172, Cherokee 180, C182 Skylane, Comanche 250 and Texan repaints.
