PIPER 180
PIPER 140
With the Piper 140 only, no other A2A aircraft, when you open the ATC window, It is blank with on top it says the RADIO HAS FAILED. Any ideas on how to have it be like the other A2A aircraft?.The avionics switch in on. The Garmin 750 is ok.

Re: PIPER 140
Do you mean Piper 180 or 250? A2A only makes the Piper Cherokee 180 and the Comanche 250. Perhaps this is another developer you are mistaken for?
Comanche, 172, 182, PA-28, Civ/Mil Mustang, T-6, COTS L049, P-40, Spitfire, V35, and Mighty B-17.

PIPER 180
My last topic i said for a Piper 140 but should have said a Piper 180. I'll start over.......For my A2A Piper 180, when you open the ATC screen, the screen is empty with a message that says the radio has failed. The avionic switch is on. Any ideas of why it says the radio has failed?

Re: PIPER 180
Did you check your circuit breakers? Are you sure you have battery power?
Kind Regards

All the circuit breakers are in and i have battery power...the message says ATC DISABLED RADIO FAILED. I can't think of any thing else to check.

Re: PIPER 180
Hello scarter,
Please can you check the default failures menu in whichever host sim platform you're using. If you can give us more information on which sim you're using and whether you have an add-on GPS product installed, it'll be easier to offer targeted advice.
Thanks,
Nick

I am using P3DV4..The only GPS add on is the Garmin 750 . One more thing, the ATC menu works fine in all of the other A2A aircraft in my hanger.

Re: PIPER 180
Okay, thanks for the added info.
As mentioned, please can you check the default P3D failures menu: (Vehicles → Failures). You can select radios from the drop down "failure category" list when you open this screen.
Cheers,
Nick

Re: PIPER 180
Hopefully this will help.
Alternatively you can try reverting back to "no GPS" via the Shift 3 menu, check default radios are switched on, then swap back to the GTN 750.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: PIPER 180
Nick..I went to the vehicle/failures option and some of the radio choices were set for failure..I unchecked them and low and behold the ATC window is working (as for now) how those failure boxes got check, I have now idea and don't care since now it works..Thank for your support.. I have another issue of how unstable this aircraft is in flight..but I plan to take a long break before taking all of your time again..again, Thank you...Regards..Steve
