Cherokee 180 - No Pilot

Post by piperpilot42 »

Once I had landed at my destination I chocked and tied down my Cherokee however when I attempted to take the pilot figure out (Shift 3- Controls) it would not respond. I know the engine has to be off however is there specific order for this function to work?

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike,

It works, but you need an outside view of the plane. If you are outside of the aircraft and select "empty plane" from "Shift+3", you will see an empty one.
The moment, you choose a view from the inside - the pilot is back on his seat.

Hi.
Also check in the flightsim settings that you have advanced animations set else you dont see the pilot and any pax on outside view , this might also stop the shift+3 pilot function.

Hello,

yes you will need to be in an external view otherwise you are still in the cockpit.

thanks,
