Okay, thanks for the added info Rolf. A couple of things for you to try...
1. Disable FSUIPC temporarily and retest. The easiest was to do this is simply to move the FSUIPC5.dll into a different folder before you start P3D.
2. Try deleting the "Cherokee180Log.dat" file. This will reset the aircraft state so I suggest you back the file up beforehand, it can be found in "My Documents\A2A\FSX\Cherokee180".
Cheers,
Nick

Re: Puper Cherokee 180 - Control issues
Sorry for my late reply. I was out of Town for a couple of days.
1.FSUIPC disabled
2."Cherokee180Log.dat" file deleted.
I have no change in the steering problem.
Thanks again.
Rolf

Re: Puper Cherokee 180 - Control issues
Hi Rolf - thanks for your patience with this, it seems to be a tricky one to pin down. Please could you post the contents of the installer log...
C:\Users\Rolf\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\A2A\A2A\Cherokee180\Cherokee180log.txt
...So we can see if that gives us any clues. The best bet is probably for you to upload the file to a sharing website such as Dropbox and post the link to it here. The same principal can also be used to share any screenshots (you mentioned some earlier in the thread) as described here.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Puper Cherokee 180 - Control issues
Thanks Rolf but the link doesn't seem to work. For Dropbox, if you just drop the log file into your Dropbox folder structure somewhere, then mouse over the file in question and click "share" then "copy link" you should end up with a URL which you can paste into your post.
Cheers,
Nick

Nick it does not give me a sharing options. Copying the link and pasting it worked. Whether it is successful remains to be seen. I tried two options that were available to me. Sorry for the problems I am giving you.

Let me try this one.

This may actually do it.

Re: Puper Cherokee 180 - Control issues
No clues in the log file I'm afraid: everything looks fine there.
Do you use any other software which might be relevant Rolf? Anything like EZdok for instance?
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Puper Cherokee 180 - Control issues
Okay, thanks Rolf. Just wondered because I know that there were reports of EZdok causing the same behaviour. I can't remember if we already discussed this, but have you confirmed that nosewheel steering definitely works correctly in the default P3D aircraft?
Also, just to clarify the points made earlier in the thread, you're haven't got the Cherokee saved as your default startup flight have you?
Nick

Re: Puper Cherokee 180 - Control issues
Hi Nick, The default plane for P3D v4.1 is the F-22 Raptor and its nosewheel responds perfectly. The Cherokee is not the default start up plane.

Thanks for confirming Rolf. Afraid I'm running out of ideas now. What sort of antivirus software do you use?

Windows defender - I have windows 10.
I was toying with the idea of buying another aircraft maybe the 172 to see if that would work but that is a bit risky not knowing what the problem is.
I really appreciate your effort.
Thanks again. Rolf
