Main Power Switch not active
Main Power Switch not active
I recently installed the Piper Cherokee 180 in my FSX and the Main Power Switch is not active. How do I fix it.

Re: Main Power Switch not active
The plane seems to load fine, but when I turn on the main power supply nothing happens. I checked the overhead light and no power. Needless to say, it won't start so none of the other electrical features work.

Re: Main Power Switch not active
Hello,
have you pre-flighted, is the aircraft fit for flight and checked out ok?
OK in the maintenance hangar, all the fuses in place etc?
From a technical stand point have you run the latest Accu-sim updater to get all up to date?

Re: Main Power Switch not active
I am using FSX and I have SP2 and Direct X 11. I initially installed A2A from a download, but re-installed from a disc I received from FS Pilot.

Re: Main Power Switch not active
I thought I downloaded Accusim, but I don't see it in my downloads. I also don't know how to get it in the hanger. This is my first time using an A2A plane so learning my way around.
Re: Main Power Switch not active
Yes, I have checked all the fuses.
Re: Main Power Switch not active
I will try to re-download and install Accusim again.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Main Power Switch not active
Hello,
no please don't reinstall, a reinstall doesn't fix many issues and can cause more issues. I don't believe this is a tech issue but a user issue with the aircraft just not being in a state to fly. Use your shift panels to check the aircraft is fit for flight. The manual for your software is under your start button > A2A Simulations

Re: Main Power Switch not active
Simply put, if you have FSX and SP2 you do not have DX11 you are using DX9.RonA wrote:I am using FSX and I have SP2 and Direct X 11. I initially installed A2A from a download, but re-installed from a disc I received from FS Pilot.
Given this basic misapprehension, one wonders whether you have actually installed the aircraft properly, added the update patch appropriately or read the manual regarding persistent damage modelling sufficiently. Unfortunately your posts give us no clue.
Perhaps you could go back to basics and describe what you did, what you've got and what you're' running it on?
