Is someone able please to explain to me the Auto pilot settings in the A2A PA28-180 Cherokee.
The various settings of HD - LO - HI - ST ??
And when clicking on the Alt Hold, how does this work please? Is there anywhere on the aircraft
to set an altitude or does it just hold the current altitude the aircraft is at?
I have looked in the manual but can't find any explanation for this Auto pilot system.
Thanks
John

Re: Cherokee Autopilot
Thanks Will. Much appreciated. Will, whilst I have contact with you. May I also ask you please, is there a guage somewhere that shows the flap positions in the cockpit. Have hunted, but can't find any such guage.
Thank you.
John
Thank you.

Hi,
You are welcome!
As far as it concerns the Cherokee 180, I am afraid, that there isn't such a gauge beside the position of the flap lever itself. (it is hard to tell on a first glance to it, how much flaps you have)
