I have two thing I have noticed since the new update.
1. My one custom livery I installed no longer shows up in the aircraft selections. The cfg file shows the livery and i have the texture files in place. Any ideas? It worked before the update....
2. The nav selector switch for the autopilot has the INOP sticker over GPS when using the GTN750. I haven't had a chance to fly it and see if it will track but the INOP label is not there with the default GNS400 GPS.
I am new to p3d coming from XP so if you need any sim information files let me know. Only addons installed are the Cherokee, GTN750, ForeFlight sync from F1, and FSEconomy interface.
Thanks for your time!
Derrick

Re: Cherokee 180 after update
Hello Derrick,
have you re-added the repaint to the cfg since the update as the update as noted updates the cfg and places a backup for save keeping so users can move the paints back to the .cfg
thanks,
Lewis

Re: Cherokee 180 after update
Hi Derrick,
For the no-show livery, can you let us know which one it is? A while after release, one of the Accu-Sim updates altered the way liveries with fuselage emblems or the chrome spinner are handled. More info in this thread, but basically the model.ini file and aircraft.cfg file may need adjusting.
The "inop" NAV/GPS selector switch with the GTN 750 installed is normal as switching between NAV and GPS source is done within the interface of the GTN unit itself.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Cherokee 180 after update
Thanks for that on the GTN. Can't wait until I have some time to put into the sim and fly with it and the Cherokee.
Here is the livery I have

Re: Cherokee 180 after update
Thanks Derrick - I suspect it's the issue I described above. The livery creator (Tim-HH) provided a fix in this thread. It includes an updated model.ini file and readme.dscott3984 wrote:Here is the livery I have

Thanks Nick. That seems simple enough for me to handle. I will give that a shot tonight.

Re: Cherokee 180 after update
Lewis and Nick, I have had a chance to test fly the aircraft and everything works great now. Thanks again for the help guys. Now I just need to figure out the switchology for the modeled audio panel and the 750s internal audio panel...

Re: Cherokee 180 after update
That's good news Derrick - thanks for the update. I don't have a 650/750 installation, so can't help much with the audio panel I'm afraid.
Cheers,
Nick

Re: Cherokee 180 after update
I am and really enjoying the cherokee. Deciding now whether I want to purchase some addon weather or scenery for the new sim or just buy the 182 and Comanche now lol. Really need to get something for RW weather as this is a big void with stock p3d.Lewis - A2A wrote:Good to hear you are up and flying

Very gratifying... I like the way the community quickly came together and got Derrick back into the air in his proper aircraft!
Well done.

Re: Cherokee 180 after update
Well - I can certainly recommend both the 182 and Comanche, and you can get a free 7 day trial of Active Sky 2016 before deciding whether to purchase or not.dscott3984 wrote: Deciding now whether I want to purchase some addon weather or scenery for the new sim or just buy the 182 and Comanche now lol. Re: Cherokee 180 after update
If you post in the pilots lounge you can get some weather recommendations, I think many run Active sky, I've got Active Sky Next here I like to mess around with and also use the Orbx weather themes quiet a bit too that come with there scenery.

Lewis
