Cherokee not updating

Hi all.

I'm getting the following when I try to install the update for the Cherokee:

Access to the path 'D:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\A2A_Piper_PA28_180_Cherokee\model.emblem' is denied.

All my other products are being updated.

Advice please?

Hi,

Sounds like, not enough privileges to that location. Make sure you run the updater as "Administrator".

Thanks for pointing out the permission thing. I should have noticed. I have a heck of a time getting Windows to recognize me as administrator. At any rate, after some form of safe boot, it finally installed properly.

Boy! Updating computers is getting to be a big pain!

Just change your folder permissions for the steam games folder and you should be good to go.
