Takeoff in Courchevel LFLJ causes propeller damage

Post by Raller »

Hello,
the Runway in Courchevel LFLJ has a gradient of up to 18.66%. I use the addon from LLH "COURCHEVEL ALTIPORT" in my P3D v3.3.5.

When i try to takeoff with the Piper Cherokee 180 it always causes a propeller damage on the runway and the engine stops. I guess it is because of the runway-angle of up to 16,5 degrees and at that angle the aircraft suspects an propeller-ground-hit!

Is that true and is it possible to fix the problem somewhere in the aircraft.cfg?

It happend only with the Cherokee 180, no matter what kind of "Damage" or "Realistic" settings i use.

Kind regards
Raller

Shift + 3 you could turn damage OFF until in the air.

thanks,

Hi Lewis,
like i said, no difference if "Damage" is ON or OFF. Right after the Plane goes over the Hilltop, the Engine stutters and stops (see screenshots).

The Cherokee suffers prop damage on any uneven surface. Orbx Papua TIP Scenery is the same and has been reported previously.

Hi Trev,

thank you for your advice, that's what I had feared. I'm so sad that i can't takeoff at this Airport with my lovely Cherokee (by the way, one of the best Airplanes in my collection).

@Lewis: Is there no workaround or update to get the "Damage ON/OFF" setting work like it should and turns the prop-damage-detection off?

That's only a little drop of bitterness. The A2A-Team did an outstanding job in the technical implementation of the Piper 180...

Thx and greetings from Germany
