Aircraft stuck when trying to taxi on turf strip.

Post by EvilJoven »

I'm trying to taxi my Cherokee on the runway at CPM7 and it's completely stuck. I've noticed that in a few places it's almost impossible to get moving. You have to pin the throttle to get it rolling. Here, it's 100% stuck. Slewing off the runway lets me taxi when I pin the throttle.

I'm running P3D 2.5 with OrbX FTX.

Hello,

try changing your mesh settings, often the stuck friction issue is due to mesh settings and a core bug in FSX. Unfortunatly due to the way we have our own physics injected the issue is compounded to prevent our physics working hence the utterstuckness rather than stiffness you might otherwise encounter with other aircraft. Similar to the way aircraft move forward on there own even with parking brakes applied FS bug.

thanks,

Got a recommended mesh setting? I'll try it out when I get home.

It seems to differ for different people and dependent on mesh add-ons etc too. Try a few different ones to see if that helps the situation.

Also remember to load in the default aircraft and then switch to the complex to avoid initial load issues.
