Prepar p3dv3 update problem

Hi all. JUst purchased the 180 for p3dv3 and installed. tried to do an update, and updater could not find plane. Also, when I went to the LM folder, under the p3d folder the are 3 folders named prepar3d v3a2a, prepar v3 fonts and prepar3d gauges. Not sure what to do with them. I also have fsx steam installed on same system with all the a2a planes except for the p40. All are for fsx. Any help would be appreciated. The reason I started out with the 180 is it's my favorite ga plane, Planning on getting all of them for prepar as soon as I can talk my wife into it heheh.

Hello Mark,

when you installed it sounds like you installed into the wrong directory, you might want to uninstall and then install again, so long as you purchased the P3D verison of the simulation the installed P3Dv3 on your system should be picked up automatically for installation into the correct directory.

Thanks for the reply Lewis. Sorry I havn't responded sooner. I'm in the heating busness and it's been pretty busy lately. I finally figured out that I was using the wrong update. Applied the newest update that allowed p3dv3 and all went well after that. Going to eventually get all the p3d versions. Still mainly using steam fsx, but want to be prepared for when I upgrade the computer system here. Thanks for the help. Really like dealing with a great company.
