FSUIPC key press, not working with A2A only

Hi A2A!

I've got a nice fuel selector in my home cockpit build and have been using FSUIPC to control it, in both the Cherokee and the Skylane. Last night, though I uninstalled a module (Audio Environment) and had some kind of Sinconnect error. Everything is back to normal now, and the FSUIPC commands continue to work the fuel selector in the default Cessna, but strangely neither of my A2A aircraft.

Do you know why that would be? Deleting both aircraft and reinstalling did not work. Not really sure whatelse to do.... I really need my selector in the Cherokee!

Did You assign the fuelselector using the standard FSUIPC-commands or did You use the lvars?

I used the button/switch selector. The LVARS stuff I am totally unfamiliar with.
Weirdly, I updated the Coatl engine (FS Dreamteam) which first informed me of some kind of dynamic library eror, and now the Cherokee fuel selector works, but not the 182. The default aircraft continue to respond to it. Its all very puzzling.

At least I have my Cherokee working now, flipping the fuel selector in flight at low level is very difficult to do!

you will want to check your simconnect (reinstall would be a good idea) and also your FSUIPC it sounds like whatever you uninstalled took a bunch of core files with it corrupting your FSX SP2 installation.

Hi Lewis, I only just reinstalled last week! Arrgh! I will try and repair simconnect, although everything else seems to work OK ... I'll reinstall thoroughly tonight. Thanks for the help.

well with one of your add on's already letting you know you have errors in some libraries a reinstall might be needed but should be last resort. You ideally need to know what was knocked out and just reinstall those parts. There's a good chance a simconnect reinstall should see you good.

Though as mentioned also make sure you check that update folder, delete it and reapply the Accu-sim updater.

Just to be clear - is the update folder the folder inside the FSX folder structure?

In the A2A> Aircraft folder. So for example the cherokee; \FSX\A2A\Cherokee180

FIXED!

Thanks Lewis, I updated both aircraft, and even though it did not touch the 182 files it must have added something to the core files. My fuel selector now works with both aircraft.
