Flashing Panel Lights and Radios (Loose Wire?)

Post by ACE-9 »

HI all.

The panel lights and Radio buttons on my PA28 have stated to flash intermittently as if a loose connection, If I turn the brightness up fully on the Radio Backlight rotary the flashing stops on the Radio Buttons, but begins when dimmed down and if I switch the Nav Lights to Bright, the flashing panel lights remain steady, but the Radio still flickers if not turned up full. FYI GNS Reality XP 530 is installed.

All Fuses checked and OK....

Maintenance Hanger indicates all is OK... New Battery Fitted just to see....

Even Rest the AC in the mini panel.... Used | New

I love A2A and the level of reality, but how do I find a loose wire :D

After turning off the engine and with all electrics switched off, the the mini control panel open, the word "battery" is flickering white and grey ?

Thanks...
ATB

Hi Roger,

Are you using any utilities such as FSUIPC? If I recall correctly, the extended battery setting in FSUIPC could cause an issue like this.

Thanks,
Nick
