F1 GTN750 in all aircraft, is it possible to have just one

I've got the F1 GTN750 installed into my Cherokee and it's working fine.
The only thing is, it's in all Cherokee's. It looks out of place in one of the paintjobs with a nice walnut dash, but fine in one of the more modern looking skins.
Is it possible to only have it installed in selected aircraft, or do I have to rerun the configuration whenever I want to switch between the original panel and the GTN750 ?

(I've done a search thru the forum, am guessing I'm either rubbish at searching or asking for something crazy that isn't possible)

It's certainly possible to swap between any GPS you have installed and the default 'no-GPS' panel set-up on the fly. This is done via the option in the middle of shift 3 panel. However, if you want to swap between, say, the Flight1 GTN and the default GPS 295, you'll need to run the Aircraft Configurator as you say.

I was being a bit cheeky hoping it would remember state between aircraft but as it’s only a key press and a click I can live with that solution.

After a day of flying with the GTN750 I’m now panging for some proper navigation in the Connie.

Its the same aircraft, its just a different repaint hence it being the same.
