Just wanted to stop by and say you have a new customer from seeing the Cherokee on FSEconomy and hearing all the great things your current customers had to say about it. I have been on X-Plane for a while and decided to purchase P3D and your Cherokee.
After getting over the transition to P3D, I just did my first flight on FSE with the Cherokee and WOW. Y'all did a great job on this one and once I get settled into running two flight sims side by side, I will be purchasing more of your aircraft. Thanks for the great work!
Here is a picture of my aircraft, N180E, a '69 180D.

Re: New Customer
Thanks! It is starting to show its age in a few places. Mainly leading edges and cowling. We are debating on going back with the original paint scheme and N number from when it rolled off the line at Vero Beach or going with a modern wave style scheme. My vote is the original Juneau White and Reno Gold with N7957N. The classic schemes looks great to me.

Here is the paint scheme it was born with. Just instead of the black it was all gold.

Hi...
Nice paint - I'm definitely with stick with the classics - not a fan of the current modern painting trends...

Scott

Some of the newer ones look sharp. As long as they aren't overdone like someone shot a cannon full of streamers at it. And plus a newer scheme helps re sell value but on the other hand, we have too much in this one to let go of it so we will probably keep it and pass it down the family line.

Lewis

Re: New Customer
Ok thanks for the heads up. I'll have to do some research on updater.
I have a D model. There made quite a few changes from the C to D models but the big items are the 3rd side window and the updated instrument panel with the throttle quadrant, instead of push pull engine controls, and a standardized steam gauge layout. The D model holds the O-360-A4A instead of the Cs -A3A which had a bad reputation due to the hollow crankshaft. This was fixed in the A4A.
Along with being an owner I'm also an A&P Mechanic so even though I am a beginner with p3d, I'm not on the aircraft side of the house so I will help where I can!

Re: New Customer
Oh ok thanks. I saw the date on that topic and since it was before my purchase date I thought I didn't need that as an update thinking it was already in the store with that version.
If that makes sense.... lol
