Cant change GPS on Cherokee

I have re downloaded and reinstalled (as Admin) the 180 and ran the January update.
I cannot amend the GPS to the Mindstars or GTN750.
I'm using Aircraft configurator (running as Admin) and changing them. Get the success message 'will be changed next time it loads'.
But whenever I start the 180 (any model) I just get the three basic GPS options (blank, 295, 400).
I've checked 'sharing/security' and that seems OK.

What is really odd is that C172, C182 and Comanche will all change GPS's exactly as required.

Any suggestions please?

Hello Dean,

The A2A "Cherokee Aircraft Configurator" works by swapping round different versions of the "panel.cfg" file to enable the different GPS units. Any chance you've modified any of these files?

If not, the first thing I'd try is deleting the following file...

C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\A2A\Cherokee180\Update_p3d\client.wyc

...Then re-running the latest update.

Thanks Nick that fixed it!
The file was dated December - not sure why.
Deleted it and re-ran updater.
Detected I had version 1 instead of 2.X - so big download and all fine now.
