BIZI G-LIZI

Post by Ron Attwood »

G-LIZI, built in 1961, apparently the first Cherokee to be imported into UK. Based at Retford Gamston (EGNE) she is looking good as new and still earning her keep!

Here she is:

And my shot at it:

Thanks Lewis. Unfortunately my blue is a bit light so I'm going to upload a new one.

Ron
I don't know how you can keep turning out those great paints, well done. I have enough trouble doing one.

Thanks Ian, I appreciate it. I think it will be available for download later on today or early tomorrow. I did mess them (AVSIM Library) about a bit by changing the upload.

Neither of them have surfaced so far. Hopefully, the V1 wont be there, only V2. It's strange, but sometimes I can upload and it'll be available within minutes. Other times....I've learned to accept it. :D

EDIT: Wouldn't you know! The original upload is there. I've learned a lot today. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FINISHED THE PAINT BEFORE UPLOADING!

Just downloaded what is claimed to be version 2. It was hidden by a huge list of new stuff just showing up around 6pm their local time.

Not only does it claim to be version 2, it IS version 2! They did a good job deleting the wrong one and making the substitution.

Something about LIZI just makes me smile - maybe it's that she's nearly as old as me, but whatever it is this lovely scheme has taken over from KELS as the livery I fly most of the time :)
