My worn cockpit :(

Post by SolRayz »

Ok, so I got super bored at work today and decided to experiment with some of bricke94 interiors. Being a little too prestine and factory fresh, I decided to mess them up a little. Mind you, I have zero experience repainting, but, anywho, I love that used and abused, zero tlc, and terrible owner look. Maybe a little over the top, but, still a work in progress. :D

Great idea! Will you be sharing your work when finished? Would love a nice jacked up panel myself :D

Thanks!
Chris

When I'm happy with it I will definitely share. I'd love to figure out how to make some nice deep sun cracks on the dash....hmmmm. Would also like to work on a worn exterior as well, but that is a little bit more intimidating at this point.

For someone with no repainting experience, your sure doing a good job. I wouldn't even know where to start.

Looks great! I would think the buttons on the GPS would be barely readable from the thousands of finger presses over the years and the bleaching in the sun. Other than that it is looking real good.

I would love to have that paint! It would go good with my old bakelite gas cap. I just started painting tonight. First use of PS.Image

We need a seriously trashed exterior to match.

Interesting and certainly looks like some of the bangers I've been around lol

Just one comment though dont go too mental with the addition of the wear, sometimes some subtle wear is best.

thanks,
Lewis
