Again, fabulous documentation that contains history, technical aspect, systems, etc.

The quality of the manual should be enough to silence the critics regarding pricing and licenses. True you have to pay more, but you also get more. Carenado makes fabulous models but their manuals don't even come close to the details found in the A2A manuals, which are free for anyone to download.

A2A don't make many models, but their models are super detailed and supported by rich documentation. This IMHO is a complete product. I am willing to pay for that.

Kudos :)

HI Scott,
If you are reading this, it is a truly wonderful manual, thanks.

One correction you maybe can make before release :-)
On page 46 the header reads: Accu-sim and the C172 Trainer.
I assume that should be replaced by Cherokee....

And while you are at it: the picture at page 27 read "flowler flap" instead of "fowler flap".

I really look forward to purchasing the Cherokee (for P3Dv2) :-)

Hi there Scott, is it possible for me to download directly onto my Ipad using the link you provide?
I did try the other day, but I gave up after about 20 mins as nothing seemed to be happening, probably my slow internet right?

Cheers, John.

Forget the above!!! I've got it now, had to reset my router, looking forward to reading it, thanks A2A!!!

Hi guys,

Could we have more info on certain things. I found that the PA-28 manual is not as in-depth as the C172, in particular, normal operations.

Shut-down procedures is also something i would love to see.

Thanks again

Hi All,

My first post (i think) .

I'm te proud owner of 3 A2A aircraft:
J-3, Skyhawk, Cherokee.

Is there a version of the manual of the Cherokee and Skyhawk in single page layout.
Have trouble printing it.

Regards,
TeeKay

From the A2A manual;

"To stop the engine, after landing and when clear of the runway, pull the mixture control full out to idle cut- off. When using alternate fuels, the engine should be run up to 1200 R.P.M. for one minute prior to shutdown to clean out any unburned fuel. After the engine stops, turn the ignition and master switches off, and retract the flaps."

The Cherokee is actually pretty simple as shutdown goes.

As much as I'd love to take credit for everything good that happens at A2A :-))) I'm just a consultant here; one of several BTW; people with long successful professional histories in real world aviation .
The real work is done by one of the finest simulation teams in the business. The manual for the most part was the work of Mitchell Glicksman and Scott Gentile. Mitchell especially, spent a huge amount of time on the manual. Any credit due the manual should go in that direction.

Hello,

great manual! I was just wondering where I can find the checklist? The 172s and 182s manual have checklists for normal procedures. Why the cherokee doesnt have it?
