One trick I find very handy with tail-draggers, because I don't have multiple throttles, is editing the aircraft.cfg to give me tail-wheel steering with the rudder. If you are happy to do that then this is what you do.
Open the aircraft.cfg file and look in the [contact_points] section. Find this line...
point.0= 1, -25.200, 0.000, -2.100, 1201, 0, 0.410, 180.000, 0.200, 2.492, 0.695, 0.000, 0.000, 1
Change the 180 to 40 and save the file. It should look like this...
point.0= 1, -25.200, 0.000, -2.100, 1201, 0, 0.410, 40.000, 0.200, 2.492, 0.695, 0.000, 0.000, 1
You should now have tail-wheel steering.
Wow fantastic thank you. So this only affects this plane yes ?
Yes I just can't seem to bind one button for one engine and one for the other and the keyboard controls never do anything so it would be clumsy steering via the virtual cockpit.... I am surprised FSX does not allow binding a key to separate engines....
