P3DV4.4/A2A C172 Trainer crash on loading

Hello,

after a plain new install of latest P3DV4.4 I am having a severe problem with the A2A 172.

Complete removal of all traces of my prior C172 Installation
A2A C172 installed/updated with latest Version 18.12.31.0
Load P3DV4.4 with a saved flight (different stock aircraft)
Untouched Prepar3D.cfg (Automixture is off)

When switching the plane to the C172 the flight simulator immediately crashes.

I observe the following:

When deleting the Prepar3D.cfg prior to starting P3DV4.4 I can load the C172!
I then leave and close P3DV4.4 with the re-generated Prepar3D.cfg untouched.

Then I restart P3D again with the stock aircraft. I switch to the C172.

And the LFightSim is crashing again.

So, after multiple back and forths it seems to work. Don't know what the cause had been. There is some indication that it was due to a 5.1 setting in the sound driver. These monstrous installation sessions kill me. All together 1 day at least with all the orbx, airports, navdata, gps stuff, tex & shaders, ai traffic, weather addon and if you're then stumbling at the end across something like this it makes you mad.

Before add-ing third party software to the platform you really really do want to set all the settings and full run the sim in utter default form before adding a single addition. Otherwise you can get some big frustrations in chasing platform issues with a fully modded installation.

You hit the nail on the head. I have almost everything ... today I filled the last white spot... EZCA the camera AddOn ... very nice but I am lost in button assignments now ...

Yes def a learn from experience situation for me, the trouble is as simmers we all try to tweak before we sim and run before we walk.
