No sounds for the 172

Have installed this great plane into P3D v4, but have no sounds of switches, buttons or the engine. I'm sure there is a quick fix, that I placed the sounds in the wrong area, etc.

is your systems default sound device plugged in, volume up and working ok?

Have you installed the P3Dv4 version of Accu-sim C172 Trainer.

Also check if you didn't push the q button, besides that check one of the first pop up windows when you are inside the plane, it will have a sound volume bar for the plane, i had a situation once where it reset on its own to zero

Yes sound system is working and at 100 percent, and yes I have the latest version of 172 update. Also running windows 10

What about the systems default sound device?

The Accu-sim sounds play through the systems default sound device.

Shift + 3 also has a volume slider you will want to check.

Also please confirm if you have P3Dv4 Accu-sim C172 Trainer and not a different version which is not supported for use on the P3Dv4 platform.

I'm using Turtle Beach sound sys. with headset, checked volume in the pop-up (shift-3) at full volume. Have the correct download as well C172 P3Dv4. Will try uninstall/install and see if that works.

Hi Rob,

Yeah, it may be worth checking you have the new version of the P3Dv4 installer. If so, it will show version 18.4.22.0 in the Windows "apps & features" or "uninstall or change a program" window and is currently up to date.
