Installation Error

Hello,
I downloaded the latest version of the installer for the C172 P3Dv4 (I use P3D v4.2 Under Windows 7 - 64bits).
I followed the procedure (uninstallation/restart P3D/installation)

The installer aborts as you can see on the followings captures :

I checked the log file and I found this lines at the end of the file :

Running the installer as admin doesn't work.
Suspending the antivirus software doesn't work.
If I try to change the directory (disk explorer), installer freezes.

Hello sargas,

Sorry to hear you've had problems installing the latest version of A2A Cessna 172. Just this week, there have been two other reports of the same issue, both by Windows 7 users, so I wonder if a new Windows update may be related to this error. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to reproduce it with my own (fully updated) installation of Windows 7 Pro at this time.

However, in one case, using a version of the installer with the "enhanced user interface" disabled seems to provide a workaround.
