Automatic cockpit view

Post by lgvdbroek »

The C172 has a number of views as standard where it goes when you place the mouse on a specific location on your screen. I now work with Chaseplane and it is particularly annoying that the view changes automatically. Where can I turn off that automatic view in the A2A C172?

Well, it is there. Absolutely otherwise I did not ask this question.

Please can you describe in a bit more detail what's happening lgvdbroek? Are you sure it's not Chaseplane or another add-on which is causing the view shift? As Lewis says, there are no 'automatic' view changes with the 172. Instead you'd have to use key commands or similar (by default, 'A' and 'Shift A').

Thanks,
Nick

Yes, theirs just the default P3D/FSX keys to change views. Chase-plane however I do know has some functions that can do with the mouse area on the screen.

No, I don't have to touch the keyboard. The camera moves automaticly to another view when I put the mouse there.
And that was before I purchased Chaseplane. So then its was handy. But now not anymore.
I tried to add a file but this forum does not accept a PowerPoint's ppt extension.
Which extensions does this forum accept ?

To share files, you'll need to add them to a file hosting service such as Dropbox and paste the sharing link in your post.

The only thing I can think of which matches your description is the default 'mouse look' function in FSX/P3D. If this is active, the cursor will take the form of a small cross and control the view direction. Is this what you're describing?

Thanks,
Nick

OMG OMG. Mea Culpa................

I think it was realy a setting in Chaseplane.

I was convinced that I already had it before I bought chaseplane.
But that has put that setting in the A2A C172 profile

I can't find the right words for my apologies.
Time for coffee or something strongers.................

Many thanks for your quick response and support.
Next time I think twice before startind a topic

@ Nick, Lewis
Happy flying ???? Shure I am.

I purchased ORBX The Netherlands and exploring that with the C172 on low altitude......
On that altitude I would loss my licence in the real world :P

BTW
Has A2A a helicopter in the planning ?
Such a Bolkov 112 or an Eurocopter EC-135 ?
Because the Dutch scenery has a lot of oil riggs so thats my challenge

Regards,
Leo, Rotterdam
