I use FSX SE. I downloaded the A2A Cessna 172. Everything seems to work well except for the pre-flight check which it won't do.
I get the pre-flight window but when I click on a check station and then click the < > or A Shift-A, it won't proceed with the walk around. Clicking on an inspection station in the Pre-flight window does not transfer me to the outside of the airplane. I must be missing something. Help Please.
My second question is - How do I set vertical speed?
Also, as far as I have understood, it should have come with a manual, but I can't find the manual for the aircraft. I've looked at my download files and I can't identify it there. Maybe the manual is inside another file? I also looked at the A2A website but again didn't find the aircraft manual.
How do I find the manual?
Thanks.

Re: Pre-flight check Cessna 172
Hello and welcome to the forums,
do you use a camera add-on at all?
For the manual its installed in the normal place for windows. Under your start menu > all programs > A2A Simulations (Variants of this depending on your windows version).
thanks,

Re: Pre-flight check Cessna 172
Thanks. Now, I have found the manual as described.
No, I'm not using any add-on cameras, just plain regular FSX SE.

Re: Pre-flight check Cessna 172
Hello,
for the pre-flight, are you using shift + 8?
Have you edited any of the C172's files?
thanks,
Lewis

Re: Pre-flight check Cessna 172
The problem's solved.
The solution to the non-working pre-flight check was that I had the engine running. It should have been obvious, but it's a lesson learned. I Just need to follow the logic of the procedures.
It's all working now.
Thanks for giving it your attention.
