RESOLVED - 10-12-17 Update - Question

Hello Lewis..
Last night I completed the installation of the A2A C172 Trainer. Just now I applied the 10-12-17 UPdate file.
Usually, the update process goes through each aircraft and presents a splash screen along with a dialogue box confirming the aircraft was Found or Not Found.

This time, the updater did not work like that. It completed in a split second.
Leaves me with some doubt that the updater was properly applied.
I ran a second time to be sure.

How to know the updater was applied correctly?

Please advise.

Hi.
The latest updater was done for P3Dv4.1 to rectify a ground handling issue , and did one file for all the P3Dv4 A2A aircraft .
You did not state which sim you are using , if you are using P3Dv4.1 then if you can steer the aircraft on the ground , then update is installed .
I am assuming if you have FSX , then you would get the usual dialog on updates.

Yes if using v4.1 theirs only one small file to change. It sounds like you are good to go.

I just completed a fresh reset of the PC and reinstallation of P3d v4.1 / A2A C172 & update etc.
This time was different.

The 10-12-17 update clearly concluded with a dialogue box indicating the Update was properly completed.

So that is the conclusion and confirmation that I was looking for.
