Course deviation indicator

Hi guys

I’m trying to locate the actual bearing to a VOR in P3d ver4.1 in the 172. I have tried the real manuals, however when I turn the obs knob there is no to or from flag to signify that I have the exact heading to the VOR. What should I be looking for on the gauge?

When the needle is centered with a from indication, then you have identified the radial you are on. If the needle is centered with a to indication then you are on the reciprocal radial on the OBS.
