aux fuel pump not working

Hi folks,
Wanted to take out the 172R for a spin after it's been quite a while and found the aux fuel pump is not working. Did an uninstall, download and new install. Still not working (= no sound, no rise of fuel flow). Tanks are full, complete overhaul is done. Any idea what's (not) going on?

Hi Holger,

Have you checked the condition of the aircraft in the maintenance hangar (shift 7)? Maybe the battery is flat if the aircraft has been idle for some time, or the pump itself has a simulated fault?

It may also be worth checking the circuit breakers.

Yes, I have clicked the "complete overhaul" button. And I forgot to mention - the fuel selector is on "both", and the fuel shutoff valve is on (in).

Maybe I am doing something wrong when I load the plane - I am starting the flight with the trike and shut down the engine on the trike. I then load the C172R.

no need to shut down the engine. Whats your default flight in the sim?

I actually think I am experiencing a memory problem after installing ORBX Germany North. Sometimes (and I cannot tell you why) I find the engine running when I load the C172R, but without sound (the wind sound, however, is working). I will do a complete reinstall and report back - in a few weeks, I think.

Sounds like there's a problem somewhere Holger, but I think what Lewis was getting at is that if you've saved a custom default flight which loads the A2A Cessna 172, this alone may explain your issue.
