Cessna 172 with P3D 4.1 - update doesnt fix rudder

Hey guys
Installed the 10/12/17 update with my prepar3d 4.1. It found the DLL fine. Boot it up and I still have rudder issues. Tried installing the update several times. Found the file in the filesystem and confirmed it had updated properly. Ran the install as administrator.
Any ideas?

we are not aware of any rudder issue. Whats the exact issue you are having?

the update successfully locates the folder and updates the relevant file, however, I just installed the C172 and I think I can not apply the previous updates via this update file since there is no regular check for the planes. It just locates the a single file and replaces. Is there a way to reach the previous (other) updates since the installation file? thanks

There is no reason to apply the previous updates as they are already part of the V4 installer package. You are all set when you apply the latest update for your P3D V4.1 installation

Hello,
yes Oracle is correct, the P3Dv4 C172 was a free update that included as well as the free update to re-do all the bits needed for P3Dv4 but also all the previous updates to the date of release out the box so to speak.
