Throttle Control Problem

I have a throttle control issue, I use a Saitek throttle quadrant to control my throttle & mixture levers, the problem I have is that every time I move the mixture lever the throttle lever also moves, I have tried everything to try to stop this happening but with no joy, I do have a registered version of FSUIPC (which is up to date) I have deleted the profile and just used Saitek software, and have also tried uninstalling the Saitek software and just use FSUIPC, but I still have the same issue.

Sim=P3D v4
(all drivers are up to date)

I hope someone can help as this is spoiling my enjoyment of this fantastic aircraft.

Hello Tim,

you don't have auto mixture on do you?

And how are your settings in the aircraft input config program?

thanks,
Lewis

Check the controller setup in P3D and make sure that controller axis assignments are removed if your going to use FSUIPC or any other “external” controller.

Also check to make sure that all axis aren’t duplicated per controller within P3D’s controller configuration. Example, you have a joystick and a yoke. P3D’s input configurator might have automatically assigned the Y axis to both controllers. Mine automatically assigned ALL axis to each controller I have (5) and I had to delete each axis per controller because they were interfering with each other and I use FSUIPC exclusively.

Yes check the input config just in case you have an axis assigned in there as TBryson2 mentions. The issue you describe is almost certainly a stray mapping somewhere on your system.

thanks,
Lewis

Thanks for the help guys, finally got it sorted out, I think my throttle quadrant might be at fault, after a reconfiguration all is well, I am now a very happy A2A flyer again.
