Hi,
In a real cessna you use the trim by feeling the pressure on the pitch.
In the sim there is no way to know if there is pressure or not. so how do you trim?
I am just lost on being able to trim plane. Its either pitching up or down

The trick is to trim whilst simultaneously relaxing pressure on your yoke or joystick. For instance, if, after take-off, you find you're using forward yoke/stick pressure to keep the aircraft at the desired pitch attitude, you'll need to trim down at the same time as you allow the yoke/stick to come back to its centred position.
It takes a bit of practice to get the two actions coordinated, but after a while it should become a lot more natural. I find that because the reliance is mostly on visual cues, the biggest challenge is to trim effectively if flying in IMC.
You might find it helps to assign a rocker or hat switch on your yoke/joystick to the trim commands in the A2A "C172 Input Configurator". Of course, if you use a hardware trim wheel, your job should be easier still!

Its pretty similar to real life ease pressure on the yoke and trim, just make sure you are not over compensating the lack of tactile feedback by trimming too much. I think this is what you might be doing and going too far the other way on the trim.
