HI,
I have been going crazy trying to get the multipanel to work as intended.
I am using latest P3dv4. Registered spadnext. Simconnect, LAVR enabled .
latest A2A C172 P3dv4
my problem is that its almost impossible to engage AP. not everything is working as it should. sometimes it engages but if i am choosing att hold or heading, only one would work if lucky after several presses and most of the time the light on the panel wont engage. I have tried several profiles for spadnext. I have tried programming myself. I don't know what i am doing wrong. Has anyone been able to get the panel to actually work fully without issue. The panel seems to work with all the planes that came with P3d but not the A2A.
Please if someone has an idea of what iam doing wrong , kindly let me know.
PS: I am not using Saitek Drivers

Re: Saitek Multipanel issues
Might be best to post on the Spad forum to check there. In the past they have had it all working OK using our LVars, not sure if its been updated for P3Dv4 version yet though.
thanks,
Lewis

One other think to bear in mind is that the 'AP' button needs to pressed and held for at least 0.25 seconds to engage the autopilot. Is it possible you're misinterpreting this basic safety feature as an issue with the Saitek hardware integration?gazzazh wrote:[...] my problem is that its almost impossible to engage AP.

Re: Saitek Multipanel issues
Hmm, I don't use the Saitek gear so can't help with SPAD.neXt, but the only other thing that comes to mind is that there are two L:Vars associated with the AP button (and each of the autopilot mode buttons).
For instance for the AP button, "L:kap140_ap_button" should be SET to 1 on press and SET to 0 on release, but "L:kap140_ap" should be SET to 0 on press, but not SET to 0 on release. The same principal applies to HDG, ALT etc.
Thanks,
Nick

Oh, nothing fancy here! Just a Thrustmaster joystick and pedals. However, I use FSUIPC for a few keyboard and button press events with text macros and L:Vars. Do you use a registered version of FSUIPC5 along with SPAD.neXt?gazzazh wrote:May I ask what gear are you using ?
